Physiotherapist

Sim grew up in China before moving to Brisbane, where she graduated from the University of
Queensland in 2021. Growing up in a diverse and multicultural environment, she had the
opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life, while also learning four different
languages along the way.

With a father who treated cricket like a religion at home, Sim inevitably developed a fondness for
both playing and watching sports.

Since graduating, she has gained experience working within sporting environments, including roles
as physiotherapist for Queensland Cricket and NPLW teams, as well as working as a sports trainer
with the Brisbane Lions. These experiences sparked a strong interest in sports physiotherapy and
shaped a performance based mindset with an emphasis on empowering patients to focus on what
they can do, rather than what they can’t!

Sim is currently back at university, undertaking her Master of Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy –
so don’t be surprised if a session turns into a chat about the latest sport results. When she’s not in
clinic, you’ll usually find her bushwalking, and she’s always keen to hear new recommendations
too.
