Jamie Sceney (B.App. Sc. Phy)
Co-owner and Principal Physiotherapist
After graduating from Latrobe University in 1991, Jamie worked in public and private hospitals across Melbourne for 3 years, gaining excellent experience across many areas of physiotherapy. He then headed to London and worked as a locum in the National Health System.
After 3 years of English weather, Jamie followed the sun (and his lovely girlfriend, now wife) back to Brisbane. For five years he worked in private practices across the city before opening the doors of physioFIX Holland Park in 2002.
Jamie is a glutton for on-going education. He has studied acupuncture, trigger point massage, muscle energy techniques and Brian Mulligan techniques – to name just a few of his qualifications.
In addition to the hundreds of people Jamie has treated over the years, he has also tended to the collective aches, pains and injuries of AFL, cricket, soccer and volleyball teams.
